ABOUT THE FOUNDER

DR. ANKITA SINGH

Dr. Ankita is the Founder of the HR Association of India (HRAI) and the Chief People Officer at CIGNEX. With over 26 years of experience in Human Resources, primarily in the ITES sector, she has been a strong advocate for people-centric, performance-driven workplaces.

As the driving force behind HRAI, Dr. Ankita has built a credible national platform that fosters meaningful dialogue on progressive HR practices, leadership development, and the evolving world of work—bringing together HR professionals and business leaders across industries.

In her corporate journey, she has led impactful people initiatives and culture transformations, contributing to CIGNEX receiving “Great Place to Work” certifications for five consecutive years (2017–2021).

Her work has earned her prestigious recognitions, including “Woman Leader of the Year” by the Times of India Group and inclusion in Forbes India’s “Top 100 Managers” by the Great Manager Institute. With a strong academic foundation—an MBA in HR + IT from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, an Executive MBA from SCMHRD, and a Ph.D. in Management from Bhopal University—Dr. Ankita continues to shape the HR ecosystem with clarity, purpose, and impact.
